Senior Vet Discounts grows when members, supporters, Veterans, Seniors and everyday citizens introduce us to businesses that appreciate these communities.
You may already know a restaurant, store, attraction, service provider or other business that offers a Veteran or Senior discount — or would be interested in starting one.
Your referral could help that business gain new customers while helping Veterans and Seniors save money.
How the Referral Program Works
2. Give the Link to a Business
Share your referral link with the owner, manager or authorized representative of a business you believe would be a good fit.
You can send it by email, text message, social media, or simply show it to them in person.
3. The Business Registers
The business uses your referral link to open the Senior Vet Discounts business registration page.
Your email address is passed to the registration system as the referring member.
4. They Join & Pay
When the business completes registration, pays the applicable membership fee and becomes active, the referral can qualify for a reward.
5. You Receive Credit
The referral is connected to your existing member account using your email address.
Qualified referral rewards are then applied according to the current referral program.

When Does a Referral Qualify?
A referral normally qualifies only when the referred business:
- Uses your referral link or enters your member email during registration
- Completes business registration
- Pays the applicable Participating Business membership fee
- Is approved and becomes an active Senior Vet Discounts Participating Business
A referral may not qualify if the business does not complete payment, receives a refund, is rejected, never becomes active, or is otherwise ineligible under the current program rules.
Tips for Referring Businesses
- Refer businesses you already know or patronize.
- Ask to speak with the owner, manager or authorized decision-maker.
- Explain that Senior Vet Discounts helps Veterans and Seniors discover businesses that support them.
- Let the business choose its own Veteran and/or Senior offer.
- Share the business-information page if they want to learn more.

How the Race Works
- Refer businesses using your personal Senior Vet Discounts referral link.
- A referral counts toward the Race to 25 only after the business completes registration, pays the applicable participation fee and becomes active.
- The challenge ends when the 25th qualified referred business becomes active.
- The members with the highest number of qualified referrals at that time will be recognized as the Race to 25 winners.
- Regular Referral Rewards are earned separately, so your referrals can also help you earn Saver membership rewards and SVD Community Ambassador status.
Race to 25 Terms: Only verified, qualified referrals count toward the challenge. Duplicate, self, unpaid, refunded, rejected or inactive business registrations do not qualify. In the event of a tie, Senior Vet Discounts may use the date and time of each member's qualifying referrals to determine final placement. Prize recipients must have an active Senior Vet Discounts member account. Additional program terms may apply.

Referral rewards, qualification requirements and reward levels may be changed, suspended or discontinued as the Senior Vet Discounts referral program develops.

Rewards have no guaranteed cash value unless explicitly stated otherwise.
