California Travel Rule #1: Check Before You Leave Home

Some of California's best military attraction prices are not simply discounts you receive by showing Veteran identification at the gate.

Theme-park programs may require advance purchase, military eligibility, military ticket offices, online verification or reservations.

Don't wait until you're standing at the entrance to find out how the offer works.

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

Disneyland Resort

A good example of why "military discount" does not always mean "show Veteran ID at the gate."

2026 Military Promotional Tickets

Disneyland Resort currently publishes specially priced 2026 theme-park tickets for eligible U.S. military members.

The program is primarily for active and retired members of the U.S. military and other specifically eligible uniformed services under Disney's published rules.

This is not a discount available to every Veteran.

Eligible purchasers may obtain qualifying tickets through participating U.S. military sales outlets and certain approved online channels.

Park reservations are required in addition to valid admission, and ticket limits and other restrictions apply.

Ask Before You Pay Tip

If someone tells you, "Disney has a military discount," don't immediately assume your Veteran status qualifies you.

Check the official eligibility rules first.

CHECK DISNEYLAND MILITARY OFFER

Disneyland Resort Hotel Military Rates

Disneyland Resort also publishes military rates on select hotel rooms for eligible service members during qualifying travel periods.

Availability is limited and eligibility requirements apply.

Always Verify Before You Pay

Admission prices, eligibility rules, military programs, Senior rates, State Park programs and other travel offers may change.

A military program may apply only to active duty, retirees or another specific eligibility group and may not apply to every Veteran.

Senior age requirements may also differ from one attraction or program to another.

Always check the official provider before purchasing tickets, making reservations or planning your trip.
